Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center Of Independence, Llc in Missouri is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting. You will administer medications, document procedures, and may assume scrub duties as needed during cardiac cases.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and inventory, ensuring the procedure room is ready, and communicating with physicians about patient status throughout the case.

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 1 year of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• RN license is mandatory.
• RN Diploma or ADN/ADN degree is required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care to the adult patient population. Administers medications and performs procedural documentation for all procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The RN may acquire abilities for the scrub position (as needed). Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuouslyand as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room forequipment functioning and readiness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
