Job summary

DDN Consulting Services is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a Monday through Friday role from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call. You will oversee care at group homes, traveling to East Haven, Hamden, North Haven and surrounding towns.

You’ll manage case loads, advocate for residents' healthcare needs, and support staff with training and documentation while pursuing career advancement within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license is required.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred; developmental disabilities experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, training, and documentation.
• Develop plans to advocate for health care needs.
• Write nursing reviews.
• Monitor medical and dental records.
• Ensure staff follow procedures for reporting medication errors.
• Supervise initial worksite for med administration by staff.
• Conduct onsite training.
