Job summary

Assisted Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to cover the North County area of our Santa Barbara branch (Lompoc, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and nearby areas). This is a full-time or per diem opportunity based in California’s Central Coast region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current, active license in the state of California Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR, health clearance, TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Have flexible hours and working close to home (reduce your commute!).
• Complete initial and on-going comprehensive assessments of the patient's needs.
• Provide service and/or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Counsel, support and instruct the patient, family and caregiver in meeting nursing and related needs.
