Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN Case Manager with 3+ years of case management experience for a hospital setting in Philadelphia. Must hold PA or compact RN licensure, BLS, and BSN, with active references provided.

The role focuses on care coordination, discharge planning, utilization review, and adherence to InterQual and Milliman guidelines. Day shift, no weekend or on-call requirements, Epic charting, and a local rate differential for nearby candidates.

Qualifications

Active PA RN license or compact license required.
BLS and BSN required.
Minimum 3 years of Case Management experience.
Acute hospital experience required.
LTAC/Rehab/Skilled Nursing experience required.
Med-Surg and SDU/PCU/IMC/Observation experience required.
Admission criteria review experience required.
Care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization review experience required.
Concurrent review, continued stay, medical necessity, and retrospective review experience required.
Appeals and denials experience required.
InterQual Criteria experience required.
Milliman Guidelines experience required.
Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration.

Responsibilities

Acute hospital Case Management department supporting adult and geriatric patients.
Average daily census of approximately 25 patients.
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Floating required within scope based on hospital needs.
No weekend requirement.
No on-call requirement.
Uses Epic charting system.
Supports hospital case management and administrative oversight of Case Management department operations, growth, and development.
Business casual dress code with a white lab coat required.
Must be available to work 1 holiday; block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Local candidates accepted with a local rate differential.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility.
RTO must be submitted at time of application; no additional time off accepted after submission.
