Job Description
The RN Case Manager Supervisor assists in the management of the Case Management/Utilization Review Department, operating under the guidance of the Director. This role includes overseeing work schedules, establishing work standards, monitoring denials and readmissions, troubleshooting, staff training, customer relations, and handling special projects. The goal is to prepare the incumbent for operational duties through hands-on training and managerial experience.The RN Case Manager Supervisor will additionally assist with the role of Nursing Supervisor to support facility operations periodically/as needed.
Three years of recent clinical experience in acute care setting. Minimum of 1-year Hospital Case Management experience required. 3 years of Hospital Case Management, Familiarity and Proficiency with the following applications: Interquel View, MCG Guidelines, Meditech, Word, and Excel preferred.
