• Diabetic Educator certification preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning with physician and related medical disciplines.
• Chairs weekly Interdisciplinary Outlier Committee and communicates patient needs to physicians and management.
• Manages Utilization Management Program with Medical Director and administration.
• Co-chairs Utilization Management Committee and reports Performance Improvement data.
• Ensures department staff are hired, trained, evaluated and counseled as needed.
• Adheres to state, federal and other regulatory standards.
• Reports to the assigned leader and complies with risk management guidelines.
