Job summary

Serenity Light Recovery Center in Angleton, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance care in the nursing department, monitor medication regimes, and ensure records meet state health codes.

The RN will supervise staff, review charts, administer medications per physician orders, and document care plans daily while coordinating with the Medical Director and ensuring compassionate, professional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee other licensed and non-licensed staff in day-to-day patient care.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses’ notes.
• Oversee LVN staff on duty and audit charts daily.
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders and care plans.
• Prepare and pass medications per policies.
• Document all charting and care plans.
• Ensure medication orders are up-to-date and compliant.
