Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within our facility in California. The role requires collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement effective nursing plans and ensure safe medication administration.

The RN will monitor and guide nursing staff, uphold safety regulations, and consistently maintain high standards of resident care in a clean, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develops and ensures nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses that guide care strategy.
• Collaborates with residents and healthcare team members.
• Records administration of medication.
• Monitors staff to ensure safety regulations and state/federal guidelines are followed.
• Follows procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
