Job summary

Southern Missouri Community Health is seeking a registered nurse to support patients and family members and assist nursing staff and providers. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and a strong team player who always puts patients first.

The role emphasizes patient care, continuity of care, triage by telephone, and participation in PCMH and PCHH initiatives, with duties spanning general duties and supervisory coverage in the Nursing Supervisor's absence.

Qualifications

• RN license required. LPN with appropriate experience may be considered.
• Thorough knowledge of practical nursing theory.
• BLS certified.
• Knowledge of standard nursing practices and regulations.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, aseptic technique.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to interact with patients, staff, providers, and community members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Possesses a current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN). Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with appropriate level of experience may be considered

• BLS certified.
• Knowledge of standard practices, rules and regulations related to registered nursing.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, aseptic technique
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to deal with a variety of patients, staff, health care providers, and community representatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years' experience as a registered nurse (RN).
• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) with appropriate skills and experience may be considered.
