Job summary

UNC Health Hillsborough, NC is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate all clinical care within Family Medicine clinics to maximize safety, patient and co-worker satisfaction, and quality outcomes. You will manage daily clinic assignments, bolster patient flow, and work with physicians, APPs, and the nurse manager to create a dynamic, user-friendly practice environment.

Requires RN licensure in North Carolina, a Nursing Diploma/ADN/BSN, and BLS; 40 hours weekly on-site, day shifts; salary range

Qualifications

• Two (2) years (RN) nursing experience with at least one (1) year as a RN in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical assignments for each day and clinic to ensure optimal coverage, timely patient flow, and excellent patient care.
• Serves as a clinical and management resource for decision-making, problem solving and employee performance reviews.
• Assists in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to reflect standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provides direct patient care maintaining current skills and competencies. Ensures patient care meets UNC Health standards.
• Maintains adequate inventory of clinical supplies and assists with budget adherence.
