Job summary

Martin's Point Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will coordinate primary and specialty services, perform patient assessments, provide education, and facilitate timely care with providers and community resources.

The RN will maintain accurate documentation, engage in triage, and support quality outcomes while upholding infection control standards and scope of practice. Requires Maine RN licensure and BLS; ACLS for cardiac nurses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in Maine; BLS required; ACLS required for Cardiac Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external providers to maintain continuity of patient care.
• Perform independent patient assessments, including triage and disposition per protocols.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up plans; coordinate care and follow-up.
