Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast‑paced clinical setting in Fort Defiance, AZ.

You will develop and monitor care plans, coordinate with the care team, and support essential services across inpatient and ambulatory sites. The ideal candidate has ASN, an unrestricted RN license, and BLS certification, with at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical, medical/surgical, acute and/or critical care setting.
• Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. State or Territory.
• Valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain certification.
• Navajo/Indian Preference policy applies for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements comprehensive care plans with patient and family and monitors updates.
• Coordinates inter-organizational care and attends community meetings with families as needed.
• Educates, counsels, supports and provides anticipatory guidance to patients.
• Promotes access to medical, psychological, social and financial services for patients.
• Maintains chronic disease registries and develops referral policies as required.
