Job summary

Brown University Health in Rhode Island Hospital's Cardiovascular Institute seeks a Program Manager to plan, direct, and oversee administrative operations for the Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart Clinic. You will coordinate resources, staffing, quality initiatives, and education logistics to support efficient clinic operations and a consistent patient and provider experience.

This role offers mentorship from CVI leadership and ongoing development in staff supervision, budgeting, quality

Qualifications

RN license required in Rhode Island or eligible for licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; leadership/quality improvement interest a plus
Experience in cardiovascular, critical care, ambulatory, or related nursing field preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily operational activities for the Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart Clinic.
Lead the development, validation, and evaluation of administrative standards, workflows, and procedures.
Serve as liaison between hospital, clinic, and CVI leadership to ensure smooth operations.
Provide operational follow-up support to physicians, APPs, administrative teams, and CVI leadership.
Support budget awareness, quality oversight, and staff mentorship across departments.
