RN - Cardiovascular & Neurosurgical Care Unit PCU (0.9 FTE, Nights)

Join EvergreenHealth as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular & Neurosurgical Care Unit (CVNS) PCU. Located in the Puget Sound area outside Seattle, WA, the CVNS unit is a telemetry PCU focusing on cardiac and neuro patient care, including post heart catheterization and stroke care.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, assessing their needs, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members and families.

Primary Duties
  • Provide direct patient care and advocate for patients.
  • Assess nursing needs and develop care plans.
  • Coordinate patient and family education.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and document patient condition changes.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN)
  • Licensed RN in Washington State
  • At least 1 year of Progressive Care & Telemetry experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing (BSN/MSN)
  • PCCN certification
