The role you’ll contribute:

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients and supervising clinical activities within a patient care unit, practicing within state, facility, and regulatory guidelines.

The RN executes the Nursing Process:

• Assessment: Collects patient health data systematically and ongoing, involving patient, family, and healthcare team as appropriate.
• Diagnosis: Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses, validated with the patient and team, documented for care planning.
• Outcome Identification: Sets measurable, culturally appropriate, realistic, and time-bound outcomes in collaboration with the patient and team.
• Planning: Develops individualized care plans with patient, family, and team, ensuring current nursing practices and continuity of care.
• Implementation: Carries out interventions safely, timely, and in accordance with the care plan, documenting all actions.
• Evaluation: Systematically assesses patient progress toward outcomes, involving patient and team, revising care plans as needed, and documenting responses.

The RN practices in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, maintains mandatory standards, and upholds legal, ethical, and patient advocacy responsibilities. Flexibility, quality work habits, respect, and effective communication are essential.
