Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for the Cardiovascular unit to provide nursing care in the CV surgical setting, including assisting with cardiac cases and thoracic procedures. This 13-week day shift role requires scrub proficiency and weekend call availability.

Candidates should have active RN licensure and BLS, with a minimum of two years in cardiovascular nursing and experience with mediastinal and thoracic cases, including da Vinci assisted procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the cardiovascular surgical setting.
• Assist in cardiac cases, including CABG, valve replacement, and aortic dissections; support TAVR as needed.
• Perform thoracic surgery procedures such as da Vinci assisted lobectomy and ECMO.
• Knowledge of patient care protocols and documentation systems used in CVOR.
• Participate in unit staffing and collaborative care with the surgical team.
• Foster excellence and teamwork within the cardiovascular surgery unit.
