An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for their Cardiothoracic Unit. Overview: 7MHC is a 46-bed unit specializing in post-operative care for cardio-thoracic patients, including cardiac, pulmonary, and transplant cases. Our primary patient populations include post-operative coronary artery bypass (CABG), cardiac valve surgeries, lung surgeries, heart and lung transplants, and VAD patients (artificial heart pump).
Patients are admitted on the day of surgery from the cardiovascular recovery unit or the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTCC), depending on their clinical needs. The unit handles complex cases requiring comprehensive medical, physical, and emotional support.
We provide comprehensive heart and vascular care, from bypass and vascular surgeries to transplants, through research and innovative treatments, advancing patient outcomes.
The RN utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care, collaborates with patients and families, and adheres to policies and standards to improve outcomes.

Shift: Night (7:00 p.m - 7:30 a.m)
Hours: 36 hours/week, variable days, every other weekend
