Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring confidentiality and professional accountability. You will evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate patient care with other departments to maintain Mercy's service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license and must meet state board requirements; compact licensure where applicable.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds and sustain prolonged standing/walking.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

  • Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
