Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• Twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of CE related to Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis and plan of care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
• Coordinate the patient’s plan of care with fellow nurses and support staff.
• Interact with patients and families and health care team through open communication and mutual respect.
