Description

Unit Specializes in: 3 west is a medical telemetry unit designated for the care of acutely ill adult patients with various diagnoses. Our team manages chronic illnesses and treats acute conditions, providing safe, reliable, and quality care. We promote professional development and offer ACLS and arrhythmia/EKG interpretation training. RN ratios are 1:5 with acuity-based assignments, and PCA ratios are 1:8. Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) at DMC is a vital member of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for nursing care management, patient activities, and collaboration with healthcare team members. Responsibilities include establishing relationships with physicians, delegating and assessing patient care, monitoring progress, preparing patients for discharge, and participating in shared decision-making with senior management.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a school of nursing required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
