It's Time to Get Better at Piedmont! Join us at Piedmont Henry as we continue to grow! We are a 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit with Hospitalists / APPs 24/7. Our staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:4/1:5.
Management of titratable Cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Milrinone, Cardizem, Bumex, Heparin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Lasix, Nitroglycerine.
Management of Bipap, Telemetry Monitoring, High-Flow Management, post intra-cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker placement, post Cardiac catheterization care including TR Band Management, DKA management with Glucommander and titratable Insulin drip.
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse functions within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities.
