Job summary

Vitruvian Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a hospital unit using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients across age groups and may assume Shift Leader duties as needed.

The role requires a Georgia RN license, BLS, ACLS within one year, and 1+ year in the specialty. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current RN License in Georgia (verified by primary source).
  • BLS CPR required.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Is responsible for managing care of assigned patients. Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Shift Leader responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement to Level II or Level III. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations or pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing Licensure: Current RN License in the State of Georgia as evidenced by primary source of verification BLS CPR required Experience: *Level II 1 or more years experience in area of specialty Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. *Level II Participation in PI Study and Inservice Program Presentation. Successful ACLS certification within one year.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
