Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Telemetry unit. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, coordinating with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) on the night shift. A Missouri RN license (or compact) and BLS certification are required, with hospital experience preferred. Mercy offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week | Night Shift

Sign-On Bonus:

• Experienced Nurses:Up to$10,000

• New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience):Up to$5,000

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing

• Nursing Diploma

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:

Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:

Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred

• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred

• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift

• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
