JOB DESCRIPTION
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team, leading the coordination of patient care with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.

What You'll Need
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- RN licensure from North Carolina.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- ACLS within 1 year for Adult Critical Care, Adult ED.
- Clinical specialty certification preferred.
Job Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
- Leadership: Serve as unit leader in the absence of the manager, supervise staff, serve on committees, and represent the hospital professionally.
- Patient Care: Assess data, plan and implement age-appropriate care, educate patients/families, and evaluate responses.
- Discharge & Referrals: Participate in discharge planning and community resource referrals.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient data and update care plans.
- Safety & Emergency Response: Practice safety, recognize emergencies, and implement protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and document pertinent information.
- Teamwork: Guide and supervise staff, assist in complex situations, and collaborate effectively.
- Preceptor: Serve as a preceptor for new staff.
- Performance Improvement: Participate in quality monitoring and improvement initiatives.
- Policies & Standards: Know and uphold policies, contribute to revisions.
- Professional Development: Complete required education, attend meetings, and seek growth opportunities.
- Volunteerism: Provide community service hours.
- Professionalism: Maintain professional relationships and adhere to standards.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.
