Mass General Brigham is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehabilitation unit. This role delivers comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The RN will assess and treat patients in the cardiac rehab setting, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director. Onsite full-time position with day shifts and a focus on high-quality patient care within the Massachusetts healthcare system.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing.
  • BS in Nursing required per DPH.
  • Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Clinical expertise to evaluate Cardiac dysrhythmias required.
  • Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are required.
  • Unit-specific education and experience requirements are outlined in the Addendum for each unit.

  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure effective care.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients in the cardiac rehabilitation setting.

Job Summary

Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per week

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse-Cardiac Rehabilitation is responsible for the quality of nursing care rendered to patients. The Cardiac Rehabilitation RN assesses, plans, implements, directs, supervises, and evaluates direct and indirect nursing care for patients in the cardiac rehabilitation setting. This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
