Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4H Cardiac Progressive Care unit. Night shift, 12-hour spans (7:00pm–7:30am), minimum 8 hours per week; 0.2 FTE.

Requires graduation from a school of nursing and current RN license with Missouri or compact licensure; BLS within 30 days of hire. The role emphasizes using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights, and coordinating care with other departments.

Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care

Status: Part-Time - min of 8 hours/week or 16 hours/pay period (0.2 FTE)

Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm - 7:30am)

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
