Job Summary and Qualifications

To deliver care and create a therapeutic environment for patients and families whose needs range from basic to complex by utilizing the nursing process. To carry out functions in a manner consistent with Performance Improvement and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. To demonstrate clinical excellence through proficient practice which enhances and enriches the practice environment. Proficiency is evidenced by adeptness, facility, aptitude, ease and skill in managing complexity and uncertainty.

Education:

Graduate from an approved school of nursing.

Experience:

A minimum of two or more years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a medical/surgical environment. Medical office experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse. Certified in specialty area preferred. BLS certified. If not BLS certified must have the ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation period and maintain during employment. Successfully complete Department of Transportation Hazardous (DOT) Materials training within 90 days of start date. Recertification must be completed every three (3) years.
