Job summary

Baylor The Heart Hospital Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac PCU. You will oversee patient care using a professional practice model, perform assessments, develop care plans, and respond to evolving patient needs.

Responsibilities include creating and adjusting care plans, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe, effective delivery of care with a patient-centered approach. This role requires adherence to nursing standards and Texas regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 1 year true, recent PCU RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license and BLS certification or be able to obtain BLS within 30 days of starting.

• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans and adjust to achieve outcomes.

Shift:

FT Nights | 7p-7a | Three 12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

• As an RN, conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs. Create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.

• EXPERIENCE Candidates MUST have minimum of 1yr of true, recent PCU RN experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
