Job Opportunity: Part-time Registered Nurse - Coronary Intensive Care (CIC)

Join Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a Part-time, 5p-5a (nights) Registered Nurse in the Coronary Intensive Care (CIC) unit. We are seeking nurses from new graduates to seasoned professionals to deliver high-quality patient care with advanced technology and a family-centered approach.

Position Highlights:

• Sign-on bonus available
• Involvement in a 24-bed ICU specializing in coronary and cardiac care, including general ICU patients

Patient Population Includes:

• Cardiac Arrest/Post Arrest
• Respiratory Arrest/Failure
• Acute MI, NSTEMI, ACS
• Pulmonary Edema/Unstable CHF/Cardiomyopathy
• Pulmonary Hypertension
• Acute Renal Failure
• Sepsis/Septic Shock
• Pulmonary Embolism/DVT
• Heart Blocks/Pacemakers

Procedures and Equipment:

Assist with bedside procedures like cardioversions, arterial and central line placements, pacemakers, Swan Ganz, dialysis catheters; operate advanced equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, ventilators, and more.
