Qualifications

• Plus de 2 ans d'expérience en cath lab.
• Licence d'infirmier(e) en Caroline du Nord ou État Compact.
• Certifications RCIS, RCES, ou IBHRE pour EP requises.

Responsibilities

• Évaluer l'historique médical complexe des patients et préparer pour procédures de cathétérisme cardiaque.
• Surveiller les patients pendant les procédures pour garantir leur sécurité.
• Administrer des médicaments et tenir une documentation précise des réponses des patients.

Job description

The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist II role encompasses specialized nursing responsibilities within the cardiac catheterization setting. This position collaborates with the healthcare team to provide advanced patient care during procedures, ensuring precision and adherence to established protocols for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assessing complex patients' medical history and current condition to prepare them for cardiac catheterization procedures.
2. Operating specialized equipment and monitoring patients during procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
3. Administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation of patients' responses and procedural details.
4. Collaborating closely with the healthcare team, including physicians and technicians, to facilitate smooth and successful procedures.
5. Providing patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures.
6. Adhering to professional development requirements, engaging in ongoing education, and mentoring others to promote professional growth and stay updated with advancements in the field.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or another Allied Health Curriculum.
• Experience: More than 2 years of Cath lab experience.
• Licensure/Certifications: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; RCIS for Cath Lab, RCES or IBHRE for EP, CCRN or RCIS for holding room; BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
