Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Bayonne, NJ is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a part-time, day shift.

You will assess nursing needs, initiate interventions for adult and geriatric patients, and maintain nursing standards under supervision of the physician or Director of Invasive Cardiology. Required include NJ RN license, BCLS/ACLS/IABP, telemetry certification, and 1+ year acute care experience, with sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current NJ RN license and active certifications (BLS/ACLS/IABP).
• Telemetry and IV certifications per policy.
• 1 year of acute care experience required; sign-on bonus eligibility.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing and CC nursing is a plus.

Salary Range: $47.30 To $70.90 Hourly

What You'll Be Doing

• Under the general supervision of the physician and/or Director of Invasive Cardiology, the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
• Nurse is responsible for assessing nursing needs and initiating appropriate Intervention for Adult and Geriatric patients in Cardiac Cath. Lab, Department as required.
• Maintains standards of nursing care and practice of the Nursing Department.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing. BCLS, ACLS ,IABP Certification. Complete IV Certification course and Telemetry certification as per Medical Center policy.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment desirable.
• A minimum of one (1) year previous acute care experience is required to qualify for sign-on bonus(*)
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing; 1-2 Years Critical care experience required.
• Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model and function independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS, ACLS, IABP required. PALS certification and experience in EKG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring.
• PTCA experience preferred.
