SHIFT: Full Time. Monday - Friday, with On Call and Weekend Rotation

ABOUT THE UNIT:

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) provides a vast array of cardiac services that include interventional procedures as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implants. Interventional cardiologists on our medical staff are members of Vanderbilt Heart-Columbia and Ascension Saint Thomas Heart Columbia. Our state-of-the-art labs feature advanced equipment for procedures including Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, percutaneous coronary interventions and intravascular coronary lithotripsy. Our recent addition of intravascular lithotripsy technology enhances our ability to treat calcified coronary lesions. Accredited as a Chest Pain Center, our CCL serves a broad region, offering top-tier cardiac care supported by a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists and radiologic technologists. MRMC recently invested $1.9 million to fully renovate procedure rooms in the CCL with state-of-the-art equipment to assist our skilled cardiac team in providing exemplary patient care, improving outcomes and reducing complications.
