Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Reno, NV. The shift is 4x10s, Monday through Friday, with 1 night on call each week and 1 weekend of 48-hour call every 5 weeks. You will work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing comprehensive nursing care across adolescent to geriatric patients.

Required: minimum 2 years in a Cath Lab, prior travel experience, Nevada RN license, and AHA/BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. Travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab is required, along with prior travel experience.
• Nevada RN license required (State of Nevada RN license).
• AHA, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Consider family involvement in assessment and care planning efforts.
• Coordinate care with other professionals as needed.
• Maintain mental effort to ensure safe patient care and effective communication.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide optimal patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. Accountability for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care is expected, along with comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families.
