What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform symptom assessment triage utilizing protocols to guide best practice care delivery and disposition
- Document call criteria in electronic medical records (eMR) within a timely manner
- Educate callers regarding second-level triage and virtual care visits when appropriate
- Provide health information and physician referral services to customers
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and customer information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active and unrestricted nursing license in the states of Iowa and Illinois
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience providing direct patient care
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Knowledge of federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of management within the organization
- Strong team player with the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
