Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience.
• BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ONS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates transfer, discharge and referrals.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient/family and provides education.
• Effectively delegates care to ancillary staff and may precept students.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
