Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant/Hematology unit in Rochester, MN. The RN will coordinate direct patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care within a high-acuity environment.

The role requires an RN from a recognized nursing program, with at least one year of RN experience. BLS is required, and state licensure must be active. This position is nonexempt and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program, as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance within the unit.
• Deliver care in alignment with Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Assist with transitions of care and collaboration across teams.
