Job Summary and Qualifications

Description

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and modeling our organizational values to support excellent patient experiences and outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and quality care.
• Participate in assessing the quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
• Work with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to enhance engagement.
• Contribute to staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
• Assist with staff scheduling based on patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Oncology Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification must be obtained within 60 days.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
