Job summary

Evernorth Workplace Care is seeking a Part-time RN Health Coach (Bilingual Spanish) to support patients on their wellness journey from a home office in the contiguous United States.

Responsibilities include coaching via video/phone, screenings for stress and depression, and developing individualized health plans. Requires active RN license, 1+ year health coaching experience, and Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted license in respective state.
• 1+ years of health coaching, health education or health promotion experience.
• Bilingual Spanish skills with ability to pass oral and written testing.
• Compact license or additional state licenses may be required, with ability to maintain.
• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification.
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a home-office setup.

RN Bilingual Spanish - Health Coach - Part time 10 hours / week - Evernorth

Here's how you will support your patients on their wellness journey:

• Provide customer coaching and support, via video and telephonically, with a focus on stress, anxiety, depression and other challenges.
• Perform Stress, anxiety and depression screening
• Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities.
• Refer customer to other Cigna Evernorth clinical programs or client specific programs as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with customers to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support customers in achieving those goals.
• Empower customers to become an active participant in their own health outcomes.
• Assist Customer in overcoming barriers to better health
• Lead and support a variety of Health and wellness promotional activities, such as group coaching, wellness challenges and Health related seminars.
• Utilize biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with customers to drive to improve clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with our matrix partners to support the overall health and wellness strategy for your aligned client(s).
• Understand and own a variety of clinical targets and outcome measurements.
• Develop action plans that drive clinical value for the customers and clients.
• Additional responsibilities in alignment with the scope of your certification or licensure
• Provide support in training or mentorship of new employees as needed

Expected Credentials to best serve your patients:

• Strong Clinical skills with at least 1 or more years of experience in health coaching, health education and health promotion
• RN required with active, unrestricted license in respective state, and ability to maintain
• Compact license or additional state licenses may be required, with ability to maintain
• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• At least 3 or more years of RN experience in a hospital or provider's office setting
• Highspeed internet and quiet office space in committed location
• High energy level, with dynamic presentation skills is required.
• Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors

• Ability to work independently
• Customer-centric focus
• Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with the client and other matrix partners.
• Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills.

• Bilingual Spanish with ability to pass oral and written language testing

Bonus points for :

• Behavioral Health experience, including stress reduction
• Master's degree in psychology or related field is preferred
• Chronic Disease Management experience
• NBHWC (National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach)
• Motivational interview training/experience

This is a part-time 10 hour/week role. The hours will be during a standard Monday - Friday work week. Once the schedule is determined, it will remain the same with limited flexibility to maintain a consistent schedule for the patients.

This role is virtual and will be performed in your dedicated home office in the contiguous United States.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,500 - 129,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
