Agave Ridge Behavioral Hospital in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team during a job fair. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate treatment with physicians.

Applicants should have an RN license and at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric or behavioral health settings. CPR and de-escalation training are required; walk-ins welcome.

Competenze

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by the state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within nursing practice standards and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
• Assess patient status ongoing and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status and emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Provide direction and coordinate unit activities as directed.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and co-workers.
