Job summary

Garnet Health Medical Center- Catskill is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health Services. You will deliver patient-centered care using the Nursing Process, adhering to standards and hospital policies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum Experience: One year medical/surgical experience in acute care setting preferred.
Required Certification/Registration: NY State license to practice as a professional nurse.
BLS Provider Certification required.
Crisis training within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.
ANCC-Psych/MH preferred.
Maintains all required certifications for the areas assigned.

Responsibilities

Implement the Nursing Process based on Standards of Practice and policies.
Organize, prioritize and apply evidence-based nursing in patient care.
Collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery and continuity of care.
