Job summary

Anew Behavioral Health in Xenia, OH is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive health assessments, medication management, and coordination of care within a behavioral health setting. The role emphasizes integration of physical and mental health care and collaboration with clinical teams.

The position is a 1099 independent contractor with flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends, and may involve occasional travel to partner facilities.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with Ohio state.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for fast-paced settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• NPI/Medicaid provider number is preferred or required.
• Must pass BCI background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Health assessments and documentation for clients.
• Medication management and reconciliation.
• Coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams.
• Health education for clients and families.
• Client monitoring and follow-up on health needs.
• Emergency response as needed.
• Support with detox and withdrawal management.
• Other duties as assigned.
