Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpa­tient BERT RN and ED BERT RN roles, with occasional shifts on Ge2E and Acute Psychiatry Unit. You will coordinate behavioral health interventions across ED and inpatient units.

The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and adheres to Mayo Clinic nursing standards while maintaining flexibility for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• Evidence of BSN within five years if starting with an Associate Degree RN.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily nursing care for BERT RN and ED BERT RN roles.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure follow-up and transitions of care.
• Maintain nursing standards per Mayo Clinic Professional Practice Model.
• Possibility of flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
