Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrates leadership through duties such as groups or close observation.
• Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and quality care delivered.
• Monitor patient for change of condition and notify physician as needed.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• Interact with patients with empathy, dignity and respect.
• Deliver quality nursing care per treatment plan.
• Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments.
