Avera is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating shifts position at our Behavioral Health Center. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patients and families in understanding conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

The RN will develop care plans, document care, monitor outcomes, and ensure safe, compliant patient environments. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may be available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Ability to perform essential job functions with adequate vision and communication
• Adaptability to shift work and all required duties

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the care plan to the health care team
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing medical histories and patient conditions
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications and self-care
• Evaluates patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed
• Maintains safe patient care environment with infection control and medication procedures
• Documents patient care in charts and department records
• Maintains and troubleshoots patient care equipment and supplies
• Ensures supplies are stocked and ready for patient care
• Maintains clinical competence as directed by leadership
