Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health in Warwick, RI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time exempt role with ACT responsibilities. You will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, monitor medications, provide crisis intervention, and deliver psychotherapy to adults in outpatient settings.

The role includes intake/assessment duties, collaboration with psychiatry, and developing treatment plans aligned with Thrive standards.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Perform nursing assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations in direct client care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor medication and administer injections per Thrive policy.
• Monitor psychiatric functioning and medication regimen; assist in community networking/education.
• Provide intake/assessment and ongoing short-term case management and psychotherapy for adult outpatients.
• Consult/liaison with psychiatrist and medical doctors; provide individual, couple, family or group counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Provide referrals and community education on chemical dependency and mental health.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and document services per Thrive standards/insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with other providers and agencies in the client's network of care.
• Educate, train and model basic daily living, social or parenting skills.
• Teach clients medication management techniques.
• Coordinate services within Thrive as needed.
• Assist clients in strengthening their support network.
• Maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, and client records per Thrive/state/federal rules.
• Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage; ACT team may require nights/weekends/holidays.
