The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on patient contact level.

The Staff RN's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assessment and reassessment
2. Development of the plan of care
3. Implementation and evaluation of patient care interventions
4. Supervising and coordinating care provided by licensed and non-licensed personnel
5. Providing guidance and mentorship to staff and students as appropriate

The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or VP. Mental health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint using the Behavior Management Technique System. Additional physical demand or respiratory fit test requirements may apply. Follow standard precautions for potential exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, chemicals, and electrical equipment.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or multistate license via eNLC
• Current BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire)
• Effective communication in English

Additional department-specific requirements:

• Hospice: Current CPR; CHPN preferred
• Radiology: ACLS certification required
• Employee Health: Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, proof of insurance
• INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record; operation of INTEGRIS or personal vehicle preferred
• Emergency Department: PALS certification within 12 months; ACLS within 6 months of hire
