The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on patient contact level.

The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or VP. Mental health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint using the Behavior Management Technique System. Additional physical demand or respiratory fit test requirements may apply. Follow standard precautions for potential exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
