Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves working day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with our Trauma Emergency Team, providing exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. This may include floating to other units and participating in on-call duties. The role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.

Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or multistate license via Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Department-specific competencies during orientation.
Additional Requirements by Department
  • Hospice: Current CPR (preferred CHPN).
  • Radiology: ACLS certification.
  • Employee Health: Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, proof of insurance.
  • INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, vehicle operation as needed.
  • Emergency Department: PALS within 12 months, ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Additional Responsibilities

The RN manages patient care documentation and interventions, including assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. Supervises other personnel and provides mentorship. Reports to management and may assist with physical restraints using Behavior Management Techniques.

Physical and Safety Considerations

This role may involve physical demands, respiratory fit testing, and exposure to infectious agents, chemicals, and electrical equipment. Standard precautions must be followed.
