Job summary

Diversicare is seeking an experienced RN to serve as the Assisted Living Administrator. This leadership role shapes the quality of care and mentors the nursing team across the facility.

You will supervise caregivers and LPNs, coordinate care plans, manage the medication process, oversee daily census and payroll, liaise with physicians, and guide the unit to meet each elder’s individual care plan, in full compliance with Alabama regulations.

Qualifications

• Nursing license in good standing (AL).
• Experience supervising in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Two years minimum supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Experience as a charge nurse or supervisor of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, counsels and evaluates Caregivers.
• Coordinate care plans and supervise medication pass.
• Oversees daily census and payroll coordination with Administrator.
• Maintains schedules for visiting physicians and coordinates elder appointments.
• Oversees and coordinates in-services and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
