Compensation: Pay Range: $35.27 - $51.17 / hour. Job Description

Collaborate with nursing leadership to oversee nursing activities during a shift or in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Provide professional nursing care, coordinate patient care, manage personnel, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, and handle administrative duties.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of related experience (work experience cannot substitute education)
  • If in a free-standing emergency department, one (1) year of emergency or ICU nursing experience is required
  • Current or eligible RN license by the Alabama Board of Nursing
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA; must obtain within 30 days if not already certified
  • ACLS certification from AHA required within six months of hire
  • PALS or equivalent certification may be required within six months, depending on unit
