Compensation: Pay Range: $35.97 - $51.17 / hour. Job Description: To collaborate with nursing leadership to oversee nursing activities in the assigned care unit during a shift or in the absence of the Nurse Manager. To provide professional nursing care, support patient care coordination, manage personnel, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and handle administrative duties.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience cannot substitute for educational requirements. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. ACLS certification from the AHA is required within six months of hire. PALS or comparable certification may be required within six months, depending on the unit.
